I've been there too...
As a high school English teacher, I never followed the system. I always searched for better methods to help increase motivation and student success.
After trying many techniques and strategies, I realized the system was limiting and didn’t want to change.
So, when my son was born, I became a full-time mom and homeschooler. As we jumped into homeschooling, it quickly became apparent that we both hated it. We were so frustrated. We were both crying everyday! 😢
I knew this is not how it’s supposed to be.
I stopped everything, did a Family Reset, and read and reread. Quickly, I realized I was doing exactly what I knew didn't work in school. I was box-checking!
Now we have the most amazing family relationships, rich love of learning culture and a teen who owns his own education and is a lifelong learner!
When I noticed other families wondering if homeschooling might be right for them, I knew that they would go through the same problems I had starting out—even though I was a teacher!
This was my AHA moment! 💡
I knew, based on my own study, experience and mentoring, that I could help homeschool parents do the same and created the Raising Leaders Roadmap!

Hey There! I'm Kami Wanous!
I am the creator of the Raising Leaders Roadmap and a homeschool mentor.
I am a credentialed teacher with over 7 years teaching experience in public education and homeschooler since 2008. I live in Northern CA with my husband and son.
My study and teaching background is in English, leadership, freedom and success principles. I have a deep passion for freedom and education which is evident in my educational mentoring services and free content on social media.
My mission is to help parents overcome doubt, overwhelm and frustration to increase their family’s love of learning and become great mentors, resulting in families that move beyond box-checking to raise lifelong learners and passionate leaders.

What if I need to cancel or request a refund? (Terms & Conditions)
The Inspiring Lifelong Learning Academy Terms & Conditions
All new members will receive immediate access to the Inspiring Lifelong Learning course for the duration of your active membership. You will also receive access to the bonus templates and guides.
Terms & Conditions for the Inspiring Lifelong Learning Academy:
By enrolling in the Inspiring Lifelong Learning Academy, you agree to the following terms & conditions:
1. The content of the Inspiring Lifelong Learning Academy is access only.
2. You will have access for the duration of your valid membership. Content may not be downloaded unless expressly noted or in cases of worksheets, templates, etc.
3. Full payment is due at checkout, unless you have set up a payment plan.
4. Monthly payments for all members will draft every 30 days from the card information provided on file. This will be 30 days from the date you signed up, so please note accordingly. If your initial payment does not process, you will be sent an email requesting your information to be updated. After the second attempt, if your payment does not process, your access will be canceled. The remainder of your payments are due immediately as per the agreement you signed at enrollment.
5. At the end of your access, you'll be eligible to renew or to discuss an option with Kami that fits you best. You'll be sent an email to schedule that call before your access expires. If you choose not to renew, you will no longer have access to the course lessons, Zoom mentoring, templates and bonuses.
6. If you win a free scholarship, at the end of your access, you will get an email to renew at the current price.
7. If your access is canceled due to non-payment and has to be reinstated, you will lose access to bonus content or special offers.
8. Your access is subject to termination at the owner's discretion due to inappropriate or rude behavior in the Zoom sessions or community posts/comments. If access is cancelled for this reason, any outstanding balance is due immediately.
9. If you are unsatisfied, you may apply for a full refund after the first 90 days.
Requirements to be eligible to apply for a refund you must have:
- Attended the initial Onboarding Call.
-Attended and participated in a minimum of 60% of the live group mentoring calls (4 of 6).
-Watched all of the video lessons.
-Completed all of the guides/templates with each lesson.
To request a refund, email all required documents and reason for request to [email protected]. Refund request approvals are subject to the owner's discretion.
All approved refund requests will result in immediate cancellation of your membership, and you will be removed from the course content, online community and the Inspiring Lifelong Learning mailing list when your cancellation is processed.
10. All courses are available to the whole household, but please respect my efforts and don't share your login.
11. All course content, including downloads and videos or any other content are copyrighted and may not be shared, modified or distributed without owner's consent.
12. The client (you) acknowledges that there are no guarantees in terms of results from this membership and agrees that success is 100% the responsibility of the client’s and rests on the client’s ability to learn, implement and follow through, as directed. And even with perfect implementation, the client understands that homeschooling and life come with inherent risks and challenges, which may still result in failure.
14. You agree to have the group mentoring sessions recorded and posted in the course for replay and for the owner's use, including, but not limited to the online community, marketing, or testimonials. All recordings and clips will be in taste and never for negative use.
